In 1936 the company â€˜RenÃ© SchÃ¶nefeld Industrie â€“ en Handels Onderneming B.V.â€™ was founded by a Dutch pharmacistâ€™s son who provided incense to many parishes in the south of Holland. By staying focused on product quality, Three Kings Incense soon became the leading incense producer in the world. Clean burning charcoal briquettes are needed to melt and release the rich fragrance of incense. This was the inspiration that spurred on the development of the current Three Kings Charcoal Briquettes. More recently because of the lack of odor and consistently long burning time, Three Kingsâ€™ quality briquettes were discovered to be a great ignition source for tobacco in water pipes.
The office and production location are situated in the south of the Netherlands. Because RenÃ© SchÃ¶nefeld is still a family run company, communication lines are short and the company can quickly adapt to changing market needs.

New Business Development Manager
In this role, your primary focus will be to generate new business in new markets for RenÃ© SchÃ¶nefeld. Potential new markets are South America, Middle East, Pakistan, Russia and Ukraine. The inside sales department in the Dutch office will provide all the support needed for this role. You will work closely with and report to the CEO of RenÃ© SchÃ¶nefeld.Key responsibilities
â€¢ To analyse global markets and competitors and define a strategic sales approach.
â€¢ Generate new business and new customers for RenÃ© SchÃ¶nefeld.
â€¢ Participate on innovation projects for new charcoal products. Profile
You are an energetic, results-driven individual, preferably with a background in a global new business development role. Furthermore, you are an independent person, capable of frequently working alone; you are pragmatic, flexible, creative, and communicative and have demonstrable entrepreneurial skills. You are willing to travel extensively to visit commercial fairs and meet new customers across the globe to work closely with them on new and existing opportunities. If you donâ€™t like travelling, this is not the job for you.
You are familiar with cultural differences and are able to work within different cultures as part of an international multidisciplinary team. You have strong communication skills in English. You do not need to speak Dutch or live in the Netherlands for this role.
However, you must be willing to travel to the Dutch office once or twice a month to meet with colleagues and the production site.
RenÃ© SchÃ¶nefeld is located in Bladel (the Netherlands), between Eindhoven and Tilburg, which is a 1.5-hour drive by car from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
This is a full-time position and the base salary is in line with the market. An uncapped bonus scheme is also offered.
